The power plant at Arnafjorden in Vik will commence production this spring. “We are slightly delayed,” says Viggo Olsen of Småkraft.

The 450-meter-long tunnel leading from the county road between Vik and Arnafjorden has been fully excavated, opening the way for the next operation, which is of a rather spectacular nature.

Drilling the pilot hole is standard procedure in the construction industry. Nevertheless, the technique is unique to outsiders.
