The power plant is located on the north side of Åkrafjorden in Etne municipality. The project has been implemented with requirements for good terrain adaptation, and the affected areas will be restored after the development. The power plant is connected to the existing power grid and is part of a comprehensive development of several small-scale hydropower plants in the area. The project is considered to have significant societal benefits as a contribution to new renewable energy production.
