Hugla Hydropower Plant is a hydroelectric power plant located on the Hugla River in Ovrisdalen, in the municipality of Vik in Vestland. The facility is a run-of-river power plant without regulation and was the first power plant designed by Bystøl AS, achieving excellent results.
The power plant utilizes a head of approximately 142 meters and features a 1.5 MW Francis turbine, providing an annual production of approximately 5.5 GWh of renewable energy.
The technical installation is of high quality and easy to operate.
The power plant is located in an area with relatively high winter production.
There is road access to both the power plant and the intake.
